ART: Photomontage

This week in ART Year 6 have commenced and new topic called Craft and design. Our first lesson was focusing on Photomontage.

First, the children discussed key vocabulary linked to the new topic and explored different artists who used photomontage. We focused on one artist in particular, Hannah Hoch, who was an artists that produced pieces during the Dada movement.

After exploring different pieces of ART work, discussing likes and dislikes and trying to make sense of the work, the children then produced their own pieces of photomontage.
