This week Year 5 have been thinking about angels and the role they play in the Christmas story. Christians believe that angels are God’s special messengers and, in the Christmas story, angels bring special messages to various people. The children worked together to place events from the Christmas story into the correct chronological order. We discussed our own beliefs, what we think angels do and what they might look like. The children have also started work on our own Christmas angels artworks which will show images from the Christmas story, to be displayed on our classroom windows.
