Australian Art and Food

During Art week, we chose to do Australia to focus on. We did a number of different activities…

Children made art work based on the artist Clifford Possum Tjapaltijarri.

We worked hard to create his dotted patterns using cotton buds.

We also made Fairy Bread and this is made in Australia. Mrs Nuttall thought that Fairy Bread wouldn’t be very nice… boy was she wrong! It was surprisingly delicious.

We used bread, icing sugar (coloured with either red or blue) and sprinkles on top!

We took it in turns to mix the icing sugar and then we made our own slice of Fairy Bread. It was very sweet and tasty!
