Year 1 have been introduced to greater and less than symbols today. We used our essential skill of ‘Teamwork’ to create mathematical sentences using cubes and our crocodile symbols.

Our Art topic this half-term, is ‘Line and Shape’. So far, we have learnt the names of various lines, explored drawing lines with a variety of music, developed shapes and used music as a stimulus for line drawing.
The children had lots of fun for Sports Day! Well done to all the children.
Year 1 had lots of fun on their school trip to the farm. We had a donkey ride, fed the donkeys , sheep and goats, met and held baby animals, watched the cows being milked and played on the park.
This week, Year 6 supported Miss Lomax in teaching PE. As we have been doing athletics this half-term, the Year 6 children each decided upon, and set up a station. The year 1 children spent time in each group and the Year 6 children supported them in improving their skills. Read more
This half-term, Year 1 are learning about the Jewish faith. Today we went on a coach to visit a synagogue. A lady showed us around, and taught us lots about the building, artefacts, and how they worship God.
Well done to our KS2 dance team who took part in a dance festival today in our school grounds. All the teams were fantastic! A big thank you to Woodlands for hosting.
