Children worked together to come up with adjectives to describe the wolf! They came up with some great ideas and we are looking forward to using these ideas tomorrow.
Children loved using the walkie talkies today for British Science Week. They couldn’t believe how well they worked! We also looked at different types of Scientists and discovered that we don’t have to be a man with grey curly hair to be a Scientist…
Children enjoyed measuring objects using cubes. We also compared the height of all the children in the class and the adults too!
Children really enjoyed manipulating the paper to create 3D sculptures. All of them looked fantastic and very creative indeed!
Children loved looking for fiction and non-fiction books again. They remembered some of the features from last week.
Children in oaks loved the number fun lessons! We had an exciting few lessons outside where they had to jump over hurdles and find the answer to calculations. The children loved running round and working out these problems. Well done Oaks.
We absolutely loved making smoothies! Most children loved tasting the smoothies, some didn’t like the lumps! Oops. We discussed liquids and solids and the difference between the two. They gave the smoothie a mark out of 5. Most said 5 out of 5!
Children loved exploring the library today. They learnt about fiction and non-fiction books and went to go and find these types of books. We found lots of information in the non-fiction books. We also looked into the features that make a non-fiction book (contents pages, labels, photographs etc)
Children loved working out number bonds on their ten frame. They worked hard to solve the problems and write the calculations in their books.
