We have had so much fun this week and done some amazing exploring and investigating!
This week during our around the world topic, we visited India, we answered the register by saying Namasté, had an Indian sweet shop in the playdough area, made rangoli patterns, designs our own mendhi patterns on hands and even had our own drawn on with face paint.
We learnt all about the Holi festival, which celebrates the start of spring and so made our own colourful lanterns and bright spring blossoms and then powder paint which we had heard about during the week.
To finish our week in India, we learnt a Bollywood dance in PE and played an Indian drum and sang to some Indian music.
What fantastic learners we were this week, Miss Horrocks is so proud of how engaged you all are when taking part 😁
