Some children from Year 5 Pine and Juniper have had the opportunity to work with Breaking Barriers, a Rochdale-based, multidisciplinary production company this morning. The children worked with the company to raise their awareness about Violence Against Women and Girls. We started by watching a monologue and then discussing in groups and as a whole the issues raised. This production aims to educate young people about VAWG, help them recognize the signs, and empower them to challenge harmful behaviour or seek help.
