Last week the whole school carried out science activities based on the topic ‘Growth’ for British Science week. Through assemblies in class, the children discussed, drew and imagined what a scientist looked like. Then we all recognised that anyone, including the children could be a scientist as long as you work hard and try, just like some of the famous scientists that year 3, 4, 5 and 6 looked at (Sir David Attenborough, Mae Jemison, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and George Washington Carver).

Take a look at our pictures to discover what activities we carried out.
