We have loved British science week this week; we have been learning about different scientists and the different types of scientists, we have looked at ‘smashing stereotypes’ in science and how anybody could be a scientist.
We also learnt about connections and discussed how we can connect with others, we talked about how we could communicate with people across the world. We then did an experiment; we made plastic cup telephones and played games to test if they worked, we talked about how sound travels through the air and when we made the telephones, it travelled down the string! We even tried adding another pair to our string and connecting 4 plastic cups instead of just 2, it was quieter but it did work.
Well done Willows on being such good scientists!
