Careers Week

We’ve had a brilliant week in Maple, we have learnt so much about different types of careers. We have been reading books which include inspirational characters and real life stories about how people achieved their dream careers.
We’ve had lots of visitors such as Police Dog handlers, The Manchester Fire Service and Wincanton. We can’t thank them enough for telling us all about working in their job roles.
In Scarf we discussed different types of job roles and their duties but also how it’s our duty to help them.
We had some really imaginative costumes and we have shared lots of inspirational stories. We shared our own aspirations about what we would like to become in the future including photographers, police officers, zoologists, astronauts, vets, nurses, footballers, doctors and many more!
