A huge well done to some of our Ks2 children who entered Rochdale Borough Council’s dance competition on Tuesday. They competed against 11 other primary schools with the theme of ‘A night at the movies’. The children were absolutely fantastic and won the best overall dance group!
Part of their prize was to go to Wigan Edge centre today to take part in the Greater Manchester Schools Dance Festival. They watched some fantastic performances from some amazing professional dance companies, took part in 2 workshops from some of the companies’ dancers then performed their routine on stage. The group were 1 of only 2 primary schools attending and danced and performed amongst numerous secondary school students.
The dancers performed so well that staff from other schools couldn’t believe they were primary students!!!
