Today, we finished our cooking and nutrition Design Technology unit. The children worked in groups to prepare our ingredients. We discussed how to handle food, food hygiene and different methods for chopping the ingredients. We then went into the forest school area to cook our spaghetti bolognese. We prepared a vegetarian version using quorum mince and discussed how to apart a recipe. The children were brilliant and the bolognese was delicious. Well done Year 5 Pine!
Sports day
