This half term Year 5 will be investigating electrical systems and creating their own ‘doodlers’. During today’s lesson we focused on being able to identify simple circuit components and setting up our own series circuits. The children used bulbs and motors in their series circuits and looked at examples of motorised products. We linked our lesson with our careers related learning and skills builder targets by discussing careers that were linked to design technology and the use of electrical circuits. Our skills builder focuses were problem solving and teamwork. Well done Pine!
