Year 5 have spent the morning bonding as a team in forest school. First we recapped the Easter story but we had to work as a team because all the parts of the story were mixed up and hidden around the forest school area. After this, the children used clay to create something that represents Easter to them. The children worked together to find materials for a fire and lit the fire themselves. Once the fire was going we toasted hot cross buns and made hot Vimto and talked about how these could link to the Easter story too. We finished the session by putting out the fire and reflected on what children have learnt during the morning.
