Willows had a tres bon French Day! We all enjoyed a French breakfast of pain au chocolat and du jus d’orange. We learnt lots of facts about the Country of France and a famous French Artist called Matisse. We enjoyed recreating some of his artwork using collage. We learnt about France’s capital Paris, we went in to the immersive room and looked at where we are in relation to France in the World and some of the capital’s most famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower. We recreated the Eiffel Tower with straws and also made Lego and Duplo towers to look like the landmark. Throughout the day we learnt how to say how we felt in French, learnt French counting songs and how to say Je m’apelle and then our name in response to the question comment t’appelles-tu?
