We have been investigating how to make a ball roll further. Yesterday we made predictions by making one change to our experiment. We all started with 4 books for our ramp to rest on. Then instead of 4 books we could change it to 8, put the ramp on the end of a chair or resting the ramp on a box. We found that the ramp resting on the chair made the ball go further because it was higher up and the ball could pick up more speed.
We then decided to change the length of the ramp. The longer ramp made the ball go further.
