Thank you to all that attended Languages Club this half term. We’ve been very busy learning greetings in different languages, we looked at different European flags and matched languages to their country of origin, played games using the phrases and words we had learnt and even tasted some different foods linking to the countries were learning about.
We used our Skills Builder skills such as speaking and listening each week, these are essential skills when learning and practising another language. We used teamwork when we played team games on Kahoot, these Kahoot games meant we could practise our French knowledge in a fun way! We used the skill of staying positive when we didn’t get a phrase correct the first time as we know it is can be challenging learning a new language but with practise it gets easier.
We were all aiming high each week by increasing our confidence and knowledge of languages!
