Our time in Carcasonne has come to an end. We are at the airport ready for our flight home to Manchester. Had a fantastic final few days including more language lessons, walking around Carcasonne castle learning about the history and much more. However, ours and Albert’s favourite day was yesterday when we took a trip to Seysses in Toulouse to visit our link school. It was fantastic. Fascinating to see the similarities and many differences between English and French schools. We met some lovely staff and children who were also very interested in finding out about the differences to school. The school send their thanks to Year 3 Birch and Cedar for their cards and have drawn lots of pictures for us to bring back. I am excited to show you all the pictures from our travels and the videos of the French children singing to us both in French and English. Have a lovely half-term everyone and we look forward to seeing you soon.
