This week we have been learning about Italy. We found out about Italian food and drink, landmarks, facts about the country and we even spoke some Italian!
The children learnt how to say hello and goodbye, the names of numbers and colours and simple phrases such as “how are you?” and “what is your name?”
In the continuous provision, the children made play dough toppings for their pizzas. They also had a go at building the Leaning Tower of Pisa using different construction materials. It was tricky to make their buildings lean without falling over.
