Year 6 have been taking part in the MAF Fun Day. We have looked at creating bible stories for a prayer garden, prayeroplanes to represent the work MAF carry out across the globe and a crate challenge, where we tried to use items inside as clues to discover the work MAF do.

We also took part in a rescue challenge. We had to first overcome many different obstacles that people in isolated places would have to overcome if they were to seek medical attention in their country. We then had to make a critical decision before we set off on the an emergency flight to support those who needed medical attention. We had to decide who flew on the plane to support with the emergency and who had to stay and was not valuable in that specific situation. The two groups were very gppd at decision making but realised how difficult it was to make a crucial decision in order to make room for the evacuee and their families.
