Everyone enjoyed celebrating our partnership with MAF today for our MAF fun day. MAF are a Christian charity who send planes to isolated places around the world to people in need. The children found out more about the charity today and took part in a range of activities. The children got the chance to sit in a plane and pretend to be pilots, looked at cargo boxes and took part in the paper plane challenge. Year 6 took part in a rescue challenge, finding out what life is like in Madagascar with and without MAF. The children took on various roles such as pilot, nurse and engineer. Some children have decided they want to be pilots in the future and have been told about the MAF apprenticeship scheme so watch this space. The children have also created resources to add to our new prayer zones in Kaden’s garden. What a fabulous day!
