This week we have been reading the stories of ‘what the ladybird heard’ by Julia Donaldson. We are all getting very good at remembering the job of the author and illustrators of stories.
This week, we have made ‘messy maps’ thinking about features we might see that we could add to our maps, we did maps of farmyards like in the story, adding animals, ponds, gates, barns etc.
We did some ladybird maths activities and games, made ladybirds, created farm animal masks and acted out the story with our friends. We really enjoyed this story.
