Rock and Roll – Learning the hand jive

In music, this half term we are learning all about how and when rock and roll originated. We will be listening to music from the genre, learning dances and using instruments to recreate bass lines in our music lessons.

In our first lesson, we listened to different pieces of music and identified what instruments we could hear. We listened for dynamics and tempo and also shared if we liked or disliked the music and why. We then learnt the hand jive, it was very fast but lots of fun. Well done Maple!
