This morning, year 6 had the SCARF workshop focusing on decisions, drugs and alcohol.
during the session the children had to look at a variety of decisions they made need to make in life.
The children had different cards with ‘I need to’ on. They had to order them at different parts of the sessions based on actions of others and peer pressure. The children worked very well in their groups communicating and discussing what they need and when.
They also had the opportunity to use an interactive app and t-shirt to look inside the body. After discussing drugs and alcohol they then had the opportunity to see the affects they have on the body.

The children worked very well during this session and were deeply involved.
Well done all.
