for our act of kindness, Year 6 started to lead into our new topic: Darwin’s Delights. Much of Darwin’s research centred around bird, most famously the finches of the Galápagos Islands. We created bird feeders from lard and seed mix and set them in cups around string. the Read more
Year 5 decided to collect animal food for Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary this week to celebrate ‘Random act of kindness day’. Thank you to everyone who has donated. Miss Steele will deliver them this weekend. There has been lots of kind things going on in the classroom this week!

This week has celebrated Random Acts Of Kindness Day. Birch has recognised this by collecting items for Heywood’s Banardos charity shop. Thank you to all the children and parents/ careers who have donated. Miss Lomax will take these to Banardos at the end of the week.
