In our FRESH lesson we tried lots of different fruits. We were all really good at trying new things and found that we loved lots of new fruits. We tried melon, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mango and kiwi.

Maple have been investigating the digestive system this afternoon. Everyone was treated to a demonstration using bananas, biscuits, cola and a pair of tights, by Mrs Grindrod. There were many laughs and giggles but we are now all fully fledged experts in the digestive system!

Maple have had an amazing time at the dentist today. We’ve learnt about different tooth types and their functions. The children came up with some fantastic actions to remember what each tooth type does. Then it was off to the dentist…making some brilliant moulds of teeth and labelling them!

We have had a special visitor this week! Ruby the cockerpoo! We had so much fun feeding her treats and getting her to do tricks! Our Governor, Mrs Coxell, brought her wonderful, friendly dog in to start our Paws, Claws and Whiskers topic off nicely. What a treat!
