Today we had lots of fun celebrating international day of languages! We completed the register in French, sang some French songs and learnt how to say hello and goodbye in French, Spanish, German and Italian! We then coloured some pictures in and played a French game.

In this lesson, we chose a feeling card and demonstrated a positive helpful response and a negative unhelpful response. We then discussed the responses and why we should respond to people’s feelings in different ways and that some responses can be more helpful than others.

The whole school took part in an ‘Art Week’ last week. Year 2 studied the artist David Hockney. We found out lots of information about the artist and his creations and created an artist study in our sketchbooks. We then created our own Hockney inspired Art using acrylic paints.
