Children worked hard today to make 2D and 3D shapes with Jelly Tots and cocktail sticks!
They made squares, triangles, hexagons, octagons, pentagons as well as some 3D shapes like cubes and square based pyramids.
They were asked “Can you make a circle out of the Jelly Tots and cocktail sticks? Explain your answer”. They realised that you cannot make a circle due to the circle having no corners.
