This week we had a whole week of celebrating World Book Day; we made posters of our favourite books and characters, played games to practise our rhyming, shared our favourite stories, listened to our favourite author (Julia Donaldson) read some of her stories, learnt a poem, wrote a poem together as a class, dressed up, read lots of books and then finished off the week by having a booknic – sharing books with our friends while eating cookies!
