During this week’s lesson, we used our R.E. lesson to explore our local area in Heywood to think about the ‘wows’ and ‘ows’ of our world. We discussed the amazing things in the natural world that we could see and hear (wows) as well as looking out for anything we thought wasn’t as amazing (ows). We imagined we were seeing the planet for the first time and how humans might be treating it well or badly. The children then came up with a class list and discussed our thoughts and feelings about each one. The children learnt that believers consider their behaviour towards creation to be an expression of their feelings for God.
