Year 5 Juniper have started a new topic in Art – Sculptures and 3D. For lesson 3 this week they have learnt about Cai Guo-Qiang, who is a Chinese pyrotechnical artist known for his dramatic installations and for using gunpowder as a medium. They also expanded on this by looking at different installation art work in everyday situations. Their task was to create their own installation artwork using items from the classroom. The children really enjoyed creating their own pieces!
