Today we learnt about craters and how they are formed and about different types of craters. We focussed on craters created by meteorites and about why the moon appears to have so many craters compared to Earth.

We then Discussed what affect we though the size, weight and speed of a meteorite may have on the width and depth of a crater, before using flour and a variety of balls of different shapes and sizes to carry out an experiment to find out more about these affects.
