The children in Key Stage one and two have all worked hard creating some fantastic artwork. Each class created a piece of the nativity story. Year one painted animals for the stable. Year two made some 3D sparkly stars. Year three created Mary and Joseph. Year Four produced a collage of baby Jesus in the manger and created a beautiful angel. Year five made the three wise men. Year 6 used paper weaving to create the shepherds.

This artwork has been displayed and lit up in the windows of the new building and can be seen from Queens Park Road. It is part of the Advent window trail, which has been organised by Churches Together in Heywood. There are 12 windows to find and a prize for those who find all twelve. We hope our children enjoy finding the key Christmas story messages with their families.

The windows look wonderful. A fantastic display in what has been a very difficult year. Well done everyone

Absolutely brilliant. Creative and colourful. Our staff and children never fail to amaze me. Merry Christmas to all at St Lukes.
