Year 6 have been studying the physical geography of both the Arctic and Antarctica.

After looking at how some animals have adapted to be able to survive there, we then looked at how we can construct food chains to identify predators, prey, primary and secondary consumers and producers.

We tracked how energy is passed on through living things and created a number of food chains, both for land animals and marine too.

We then combined the food chains to create more complex food webs.
