Art week – Digital mark making – St Luke's Blog Pages

This week is Art week at St Luke’s and one of our tasks in Year 5 was digital mark making. The children looked at the different careers that digital mark making can lead to and discussed what they would like to be in the future. We watched an example of traditional mark making from Mr Doodles and had a try at creating our own versions. We then used Canva to experiment with making our own digital postcards. The children had to think of a place that is special to them, or a place they would like to visit, and add features from that place to their postcards. We used different styles and colours to create the effect we wanted and the children were great at using the different features on the programme. The results were brilliant. Well done Year 5!
