During our science lesson this week, we have used our senses to describe unknown objects and different scenarios where our senses are being used.
This half term, year 1 are focusing on ‘Sensitive bodies’ as our new topic for the first lesson, we identified our different body parts, labelled them and understood what they are used for we are then played a game to quickly point to different body parts

We have been so lucky to enjoy another half term of forest school with Miss Brown this half term. We have worked on lots of our skills during the sessions which also link to our skills Builder skill each half term..
Last week we enjoyed making our Christingles in class. Before making them we learnt about their importance and what each part of the Christingle represents.
Our whole school has taken part in a Christmas Trail to show the Christmas story. Each year group were given a different part of the Christmas story and then produced art work to show this.
This morning, the Ethos Team had a wonderful trip to church to decorate a Christmas tree which will be displayed In church. We had a lovely festive morning. The tree will be displayed in church during the festive season! .
