Today, our Ethos Council went to visit Springbank care home along with the Ethos council from Holy Family. We have been learning about sacred books in our new topic for RE. In this lesson we learnt about the story of ‘the lost coin’, we discussed that it was a special type of story called a parable and Jesus told parables to help people learn something or understand ideas. Read more…
As part of our Great Fire of London topic we having been thinking about fire safety. We decided to help others stay safe as bonfire night is approaching. We made fire safety posters and displayed them around the school to help keep everybody safe on Bonfire night.

Today the children celebrated World Mental Health day. We dressed in yellow and raised money for YoungMinds. We took time out to discuss the 5 Ways to Well-being and thought about each one.
