Fun with fractions
We had a really fun lesson for Maths this week using objects to create different fractions. This practical lesson really helped us to understand different fractions.
We had a really fun lesson for Maths this week using objects to create different fractions. This practical lesson really helped us to understand different fractions.
We worked together to practise and perform different nursery rhymes in fun ways. We performed them using different styles: lullaby, rap or rock. We had lots of fun watching different video examples then deciding how we wanted to perform our rhymes.
To start our new topic Year 5 kindly let us observe their music lesson. We had lots of fun and cannot wait to start playing instruments in our music lessons.
We went on an adventure to help to complete our ‘FANTASTICS’ to describe different things we could see, hear and feel. We will then be able to use this experience to help write a setting description for our new class story The Leopards drum.
We have really enjoyed our ‘Wriggle & crawl’ topic this half term. To finish our topic we made our own Minibeasts but then they escaped into Kaden’s garden to be in their natural habitat.
Challenge 3: For safer internet day we planned, prepared and delivered a whole school assembly. We made sure ever class completed an lesson all about staying safe online. We also updated our Digital leader display to remind children and adults how to keep safe when going online.
Wow last week we did some fantastic non-chronological reports about bees. We know lots of facts about bees and even worked hard to add a joke about bees as well.
