We have had so much fun celebrating the Queen’s jubilee. We have been learning all about Queen Elizabeth and have spent today making crafts and icing cakes. We even had a picnic on the grass at dinnertime to celebrate.

In science, we have been learning about waterproof and absorbent materials. We completed an experiment to see if different objects were absorbent or waterproof. For challenge 4 we created a video to show how a reading app called DigiSmart works. This app is going to be used in Key Stage 2 after half term so each class will be able to watch this video to explain what DigiSmart is and how to use it. Read more…
For computing we have been using 2paint a picture to create different pictures using different styles. We have been looking at impressionism and pointillist styles then creating our own pictures.
