Pine have made an amazing effort today to come to school dressed in clothes that represent a career they aspire to be in when they grow older. We had builders, nail technicians, teachers, engineers, writers, footballers – you name it, we had it! Really well done everyone!

This afternoon Pine have been to the park to litter pick as their ‘random act of kindness’. Well done everyone!
This week the children have been thinking about helicopter blades, and how different blade sizes change the way a paper spinner falls. Wow, what a great maths lesson today!!! The children used their prior knowledge of times and division tables to work out fractions of amounts. This afternoon Year 5 have enjoyed a visit from the Educational Environment Recycling programme. This involved a fun and informative recycling lesson.
