This week, Year have been creating art work for the hall display. As part of our Art topic ‘Every picture tells a story’, Year 5 really enjoyed studying the artist Banksy and so we decided to look at some of his most famous pieces in more detail. Banksy’s work is known to convey political messages, therefore, we decided to recreate some of his work with our own message. The message we chose to portray was hope, peace and inclusivity. We did this by incorporating rainbow colours into the pictures.
