Our new topic is called Beat, Band, Boogie and is all about sound and music, so we will be learning lots about science and music this half term!
On Friday, we learnt all about pulse (the heartbeat of a song) and rhythm (the pattern of long and short sounds in a song). We made our own classroom beat bands and practised using rhythm and pulse using classroom objects. We enjoyed making lots of noise and performing our pieces to the class.
