Bee 🐝

This week we have been learning all about bees, we started by reading the story ‘The Bumble Bear’. We answered lots of questions about the bumble bear and talked with our partners about our favourite part of the story.

 

During continuous provision we have been creating our own bees using the paints and the creative resources. We painted the body of a bee under our faces to make it look like we were the bee. We then used tissue paper and toilet roll tubes to create our own bee.

We ended the week by looking at the life cycle of a bee. First we watched Miss Robinson put the pictures in order and discussed each stage. Then we put our own pictures in the correct order.

We are going to keep a look out this weekend to see if we can see any bees outside. 🐝 🐝 🐝
