Compliments

During Reflective Friday, we looked at this weeks picture news which was about a man who had broke a new world record for running. Obleck- Is it a solid or a liquid?

During our Science lesson, we looked at Non-Newton fluids. These are liquids that change the behaviour when a force is applied to them. We found that when we squeezed the Oobleck or tried to pull something through it, it becomes more solid. However, when it is not under pressure, it will flow like a liquid.

I’m special, you’re special!

Today we discussed how everyone is special. We looked into the mirror and said “I’m special because….” and then told another member of the class why they are special. We thought about how bring different to one another makes us special and that we should celebrate our differences. We enjoyed joining in with Harold’s ‘I’m special, you’re special’ song.

P.E

Bluebells have been enjoying using the apparatus in our P.E lesson this week. We have been learning about the importance of doing a warm up, a cool down and keeping safe whilst using the apparatus. We all had lots of fun and enjoyed doing different exercises!

Forest School

During our first forest school session, we were able to take part in many activities, including making bird feeders, freeze frames of autumn pictures and finished with trust games.   It was very muddy but we had lots of fun!

Gardening Club

We loved running round the garden, looking for colourful, vibrant plants. We have lots of amazing plants still, even in Autumn. We enjoyed clearing away some of the leaves 🍂 and putting them on the compost heap.
