As part of our Geography topic (fieldwork), Year 6 visited Queen’s Park to conduct a field sketch. The children looked at how and why geographers conduct field sketches before they went out to do their own. The children used OASIS (orientation, annotation, sight, information and scale) as a key to ensure they had included everything they needed for a successful sketch.
