Digestion Time!

Maple have been investigating the digestive system this afternoon. Everyone was treated to a demonstration using bananas, biscuits, cola and a pair of tights, by Mrs Grindrod. There were many laughs and giggles but we are now all fully fledged experts in the digestive system!

The Digestive System

Today we learnt all about the digestive system. We thought it was very funny creating our own model with Mrs Downing. RE outdoors!

This afternoon, Year 5 had a very thought provoking RE lesson in Kaden’s garden. First the children were asked to find something that is beautiful. We had a range of beautiful things collected: flowers, leaves, rocks, shells, fruit, vegetables, spiders and baby snails. The children then presented what they found, stated why the were beautiful and discussed different beliefs about the creation story. Most children believed that these things were too amazing to be created Read more
