So many fantastic Easter displays were made by the children in Willows. Well done to everyone who entered for taking the time to make something. An even bigger well done to the two children who were chosen as the winners!! 🐣🐥

Wow! We have had some amazing entries this year in our egg decorating competition. Thank you to everyone who took part. We especially loved those that linked in with the topics the children have been studying. It was very difficult for our school council to judge but a special well done to all our winners. Wishing you all an egg-cellent Easter!
This afternoon we made explosive rocket fuel for our experiement. We wanted to see how high rocket fuel could shoot so we mixed different amounts of coke and mentos and watched what happened. We recorded our results in a table. The children were very excited!
We have started to create our own musical instruments out of recycled items! We can’t wait to show you the finished products as we have been working very hard on them.
We received a letter this morning to tell us that the Alien that had landed at our school a few weeks ago has been spotted in Morrisons car park over the weekend. Just incase the alien decides to visit our school, we have made alien masks to wear to help it fit in. Have a look at some of our creations!

As part of our studies on Darwin’s arrival and studies on the Galapagos islands, we created watercolour paintings of what he would have seen as he arrived on and ventured throughout the islands. More fun with sound: We completed a science experiment to see how the amount of water in a glass container effects the sound. We also went out in the lovely sunshine to experiment using a string telephone.
