We had a fantastic morning when Wardle brass band came in to perform for us. Ms Smith got us all really involved and talked about the different instruments that the children played. Our children really loved every minute and they have been inspired to learn to play a musical instrument when they are older. #Wardlebrassband

Tour of the Galapagos Islands!

Ancient Greek Olympics

As part of our topic we have discovered that the Olympics began in Olympia, Greece in 776BC to honour Zeus the king of gods. We looked at what events took place and compared it to our modern day olympics. We then split into teams and took part in a mini Greek Olympics. We included events such as running, long jump and discuss.

Experimenting in our P.E lesson

In our P.E lesson today we have been experimenting different ways to pass our balls to our partners. Frogspawn 🐸

This afternoon, we have had some frogspawn arrive in Reception. We have all had a chance to examine the frogspawn and look at them close up. It was very interesting seeing real frogspawn! Beat, band, boogie

This week we have been making music using purple mash and we have been on a sound hunt around school. We went on a walk around school and around the school grounds. We loved working outside in the lovely weather this week.
