Skills Builder Team Work

Year 2 took part in a Skills Builder lesson this week, focusing on the importance of teamwork. Shadows

This week in Science, Year 2 investigated how shadows change size. Using torches and different objects, we discovered that when an object moves closer to the light source, its shadow becomes bigger, and when it moves further away, the shadow gets smaller. The children made excellent observations, used great scientific vocabulary, and had lots of fun experimenting with light and shadows!

Diwali

Reception have enjoyed learning about Diwali. We have been making rangoli patterns, Diwali cards, Rama and Sita masks and taste testing food. We also enjoyed some dancing to end our day!

Armed with notepads and curious minds, we’ve been interviewing eyewitnesses, gathering clues, and piecing together the puzzle.
