Eid Celebrations

In RE this half term, we have been studying the religion of Islam. We have discussed the five pillars of Islam and why the month of Ramadan is important. We also found out about the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr. We compared this to Christian celebrations such as Christmas. We found that there were many similarities. One similarity was getting together with family and enjoying a meal. We then had the opportunity to try some traditional foods that could be enjoyed at an Eid celebration.
